Mr. Baker’s law practice focuses on all forms of intellectual property law, including domestic and international patent protection, domestic and international trademark protection, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition law, computer law, anti-counterfeiting, and licensing intellectual property. He graduated with a B.S. magna cum laude in Optical/Electrical Engineering and a J.D. cum laude from the University of Arizona in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He was admitted to law practice in 2000 with both the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Utah Bar. With over 10 years of legal experience, he has been named Legal Elite by Utah Business Magazine and presented at the Outdoor Retailer tradeshow on intellectual property in the outdoor industry. He also authored the 2003 article, “Intellectual Property in the Outdoor Industry”, featured in World Sports Activewear.
Mr. Baker operates a Salt Lake City certified e2 business in environmental conservation in law firm management.
Dr. Baker serves as a technical advisor for Baker IP in the areas of technical writing and documentation, medical devices, and biomedical technologies. She holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona, as well as a M.D. from the University of Utah. She is a board certified anesthesiologist and has practiced for over 10 years in Level 1 and Level 2 trauma centers as well as ambulatory surgery sites and office-based settings.
